Guiddo is a city-trip planning and sightseeing app that builds a personal, day-by-day itinerary from your answers and then guides you on the go — with an audio guide, an AI guide chat, stop-to-stop navigation and a conversation translator. It is made by IDEAS PSA, a Polish technology company. Guiddo is available as an iOS and Android app and in the browser, in 8 languages — more coming soon. What Guiddo does differently
Most travel apps help with one stage: planning (a list of places and a map) or sightseeing (an audio guide to a single museum). Guiddo joins both stages in one plan that knows you.
The plan is built from scratch for you, not picked from templates. You give a city or region, the number of days, who you travel with (solo, couple, friends, family), your pace (relaxed, balanced, packed) and your interests. Or you write one sentence — “5 days in Tuscany, couple, we like art and local wine” — and Guiddo works out the rest. The result is a day-by-day route with times, walking distances and breaks, checked against opening hours and the weather.
Every place has a description you can read or listen to. History, architecture, people, curiosities, practical tips, how to get there — usually 6–16 sections per place, several hundred words each. The audio version plays in your language while you walk, no screen needed.
On the go, Guiddo is a guide, not just a map. The AI guide chat knows your plan and where you are — ask “Tuileries or Luxembourg for the afternoon?” and get a concrete answer. Navigation leads you stop to stop on foot or by public transport, remembers where you parked and takes you back to the car. The voice translator works both ways, in context.
It works without signal. Download the plan, the descriptions and the audio to your phone; the whole plan is also available as a PDF — for roaming, flights and places with no network.
Who it is for
People who want to travel with understanding but don’t want to spend evenings assembling a plan from ten browser tabs. Couples and families who need a plan paced for the youngest or the oldest in the group. Solo travellers who want “someone to tell the story” of a place. Drivers visiting cities along the way who need parking close to the route.
Guiddo is not a flight or hotel search engine. It does not sell guided tours. It does not replace a licensed human guide where one is required (some museums and sites) — but for everything in between it is the closest thing to one in your pocket.
How a plan is made
- A conversation or a form. Four steps (where and when, who with, how intense, what you like) or a single free-form sentence.
- Analysis. Guiddo gathers hundreds of attractions for your destination, checks opening hours, distances, weather and season, then drops what doesn’t fit your pace and interests.
- A sketch to approve. You get a list of attractions for each day to review — remove or add before the descriptions are written. Sketches are free.
- The full plan. You approve the sketch, the plan uses as many days from your wallet as it covers — and you get descriptions of every place, audio, a map with the route, a PDF, chat and the translator.
