Guiddo is an app that builds a personalized sightseeing plan for a city or region — day by day, with times and a route — and then guides you on the trip: it reads or plays descriptions of places, navigates between stops, answers questions like a private guide and translates conversations. You say where you’re going, for how many days, who with and what you like — or you write it in one sentence. Guiddo analyses hundreds of attractions, opening hours and the weather, then lays out the route and writes a description of every place. On the trip you open the day’s plan and go: with navigation, an audio guide, chat and a translator.

Both at once. Guiddo is an app for iPhone (App Store) and Android (Google Play) — the most convenient version, with offline use. It also runs in the browser on your phone and computer at guiddo.travel/app; add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app. Your account and plans are shared — start on the computer, finish on the phone.

Any destination you type in — one city, several cities or a region (for example Tuscany). It works best where there are many attractions with fixed opening hours, which means cities. On the website you’ll find example plans for 21 cities: from Paris, Rome and London to Porto, Dubrovnik and Kraków — with full descriptions of selected attractions (in Polish for now).

Made from scratch. Two people going to the same city for the same number of days get different plans if they differ in pace, interests or group (a couple vs a family with children). That is why the first step is questions about you, not a “top 10” list.

For each day: the stops in sightseeing order with times, time on site and walking time; a description of every place (history, architecture, curiosities, practical information, how to get there) to read or listen to; a map with the day’s route; meal breaks matched to your food interests; alternatives for bad weather. You can download the whole thing as a PDF.

It depends on pace and city. In the example plans on the site: 3 days in Paris is 27 stops, 3 days in Rome — 22, 2 days in Venice — 16, 5 days in Tuscany (Florence, Pisa, Lucca) — 49. A “relaxed” pace gives fewer stops and longer breaks, “packed” gives more.

Yes. First you get a sketch — a list of attractions to review — and you can remove or add before Guiddo writes the descriptions. You can change the finished plan up to 5 times: reorder, skip a stop, ask the chat for an alternative.

Yes. Opening hours are checked when the day is laid out (a museum closed on Mondays won’t land on a Monday), and the weather forecast affects the order — on a rainy day the plan moves museums forward, on a sunny one parks and viewpoints.

Yes — choose “family” as the group and give the children’s ages. The plan then has shorter legs, more breaks, attractions for children and less “museum after museum”. Example on the site: 2 days in Kraków for a family, 19 stops including the Rynek Underground Museum and the Museum of Engineering and Technology.

Every place description has an audio version in your language. Turn it on at the museum entrance or while walking down the street — Guiddo tells you about the place you’re at, no screen needed. These are narrations generated for your plan, not generic downloads.

A conversation with a guide that knows your plan and where you are. Ask anything related to sightseeing — “Tuileries or Luxembourg for the afternoon?”, “how far to the Sorbonne?”, “what should I eat in this neighbourhood?” — and get a concrete answer in the context of your day, not a generic one.

Every stop of the plan is on the map in the day’s order, with walking times and opening hours. Guiddo leads you stop to stop — on foot or by public transport — step by step. If you’re driving, it first shows parking close to the route, remembers where you parked, and after sightseeing leads you back to the car.

You speak your language, Guiddo translates into the local one and back — both ways, in context, on the fly. It works for most of the world’s languages. It needs an internet connection.

You pay only for sightseeing days — once. You buy a pack of days into your wallet: 1 day — PLN 19.99, 3 days — PLN 49.99, 7 days — PLN 109.99, 14 days — PLN 199.99. Generating a full plan uses as many days from the wallet as the plan covers. Days never expire. Every plan includes the same: a day-by-day itinerary, point-by-point navigation, a text guide to the attractions, an audio guide and a conversation translator. Yes. Plan sketches — a list of attractions arranged for you for each day — are free. The first sketch after signing up doesn’t even require days in your wallet; later sketches require a wallet balance of at least as many days as the plan has, but don’t use them up. You can rebuild a sketch up to 5 times. You pay only when you approve a sketch and want the full plan with descriptions, audio, map and PDF.

No. You pay only for sightseeing days: you buy a pack of days and spend them on plans whenever you like — nothing renews, there are no monthly fees and no expiry date.

On the website — by card via Stripe. In the App Store or Google Play app — through the store you downloaded the app from. Purchases made in the Apple/Google store are billed and refunded through your account in that store.

Yes. For a website purchase the invoice is e-mailed automatically right after payment. For an App Store or Google Play purchase the store issues the receipt — you’ll find it in the purchase history of your Apple or Google account.

Days you haven’t used yet can be refunded within 14 days of purchase — just write to us. Days already spent on generating a plan are not refundable (the plan is digital content made for you, which you consent to at checkout). If generation fails on our side, the days return to your wallet automatically. App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded through the store. Details in the Terms of Service.

You buy the missing days into your wallet — you decide whether to add exactly what’s missing or more as a reserve (longer packs are cheaper per day, and days never expire).

The app and the website are available in the same 8 languages: Polish, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian — more coming soon. The plan, descriptions and audio are produced in the language you use the app in.

Yes. You download the plan, the place descriptions and the audio to your phone and have them without signal — on the plane, in roaming, on the metro. You can also save the whole plan as a PDF. Only the features that need the internet by nature require it: the guide chat, the conversation translator and the live weather.

Yes — the plan is built on Guiddo’s servers. Make it at home or in the hotel, download the PDF and go.

Yes — the plan is tied to your account so you can return to it from any device. Registration is free and takes a minute.

Guiddo uses your answers (destination, dates, group, interests) only to create the plan. Location is used only on the trip, for navigation, and is not stored as a history. Data is stored on servers in the European Union. We don’t sell data and we don’t show ads. Details: Privacy Policy.

Yes — in the app: Profile → Delete account, confirmed with an e-mail link. We then delete the account, the plans and the guide chat history; only data we must keep by law (e.g. purchase records) remains. Unused days in the wallet are forfeited, so spend or refund them first. Data export: write to rodo@guiddo.travel.

TripAdvisor is a database of reviews and bookings — it helps you choose a hotel, a restaurant or a guided tour. Guiddo doesn’t collect reviews or sell bookings: it builds your own sightseeing plan and guides you on the trip with descriptions, audio and navigation. Google Maps is excellent at leading you to one address and showing what’s around, but it doesn’t lay out your day or tell you about places. Guiddo plans the whole day with times and order, writes a description of every stop and reads it aloud, and has stop-to-stop navigation built in. They are AI planners too, but focused on the planning stage — a list of places, a map, a budget. Guiddo goes further: place descriptions to listen to on the trip, a chat that knows your plan, stop-to-stop navigation with parking, a conversation translator and an offline PDF. The plan also accounts for who you travel with (children’s ages, pace), not just “what you like”. For inspiration — yes. ChatGPT won’t, however, check opening hours for your date, build a route with real walking times, guide you through the city, read a description at the museum entrance or remember where your car is. Guiddo uses language models to write descriptions, but bases the plan on data about places, hours and weather, and verifies that every place exists and is open.

In most situations — yes, and it is available at any hour, at your pace and in your language. It won’t replace a licensed guide where one is required (some museums and sites) or local knowledge of what’s happening in town tonight — though you can ask the chat about that.
