1. General

  1. These Terms govern the use of Guiddo — a web application at https://guiddo.travel/app and an iOS and Android mobile application (the "App" or the "Service").
  2. The Service is provided by Ideas P.S.A., ul. Jastrzębia 6, 05-080 Lipków, Poland, KRS 0001231713, NIP 1182326586, REGON 544348673 (the "Provider"). Contact: hello@guiddo.travel.
  3. Guiddo is an AI-powered personal city guide: based on the places, dates and preferences you provide it generates a day-by-day sightseeing plan with a route, place descriptions, audio narration, a map, weather, a translator and an assistant.
  4. Using the Service means you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
  5. The mobile app is provided through the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). The Provider may limit the number of new users, in particular by invitation-only registration, and may temporarily suspend plan generation for technical or security reasons.
  6. To use the Service you need a device with Internet access and — depending on the channel — (a) an up-to-date web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge in one of their two latest versions) with JavaScript and the cookies necessary for the Service enabled, (b) an Apple device running iOS 15 or later, or (c) a device running Android 6.0 or later with Google Play services; as well as an active e-mail address. Some features (e.g. location, microphone, notifications) require permission in the device settings.

2. Definitions

  • User — a natural person who has created an account in the App.
  • Account — the User's resources and permissions in the App, identified by an e-mail address.
  • Sketch — a preliminary outline of a plan (a list of places per day), generated free of charge.
  • Full plan — a detailed trip plan with place descriptions, route, times, photos and the option to generate audio narration.
  • Day — the billing unit in the User's wallet. Generating a Full plan consumes as many Days as the plan covers.
  • Wallet — the balance of Days assigned to the Account.
  • Pack — a set of Days (1, 3, 7 or 14) purchased as a one-off.
  • AI Content — plans, descriptions, assistant answers, translations and recordings generated by artificial-intelligence models.

3. Account

  1. Creating an Account requires an e-mail address, a display name and a password, and confirming the e-mail address via an activation link. An Account may also be created and accessed with a Google or Apple account — the e-mail address and name are then obtained from the identity provider and no Guiddo password is required. Registration may require an invitation code.
  2. The Service may be used by persons aged 16 or over; younger persons only with the consent and under the supervision of a legal guardian.
  3. The User is responsible for keeping the password confidential and for actions taken on the Account. Two-factor authentication is recommended.
  4. One Account may be used on several devices (web and mobile app); the Wallet balance is shared.
  5. The User may delete the Account at any time in the App (Profile → Delete account). Deletion is irreversible; unused Days in the Wallet are forfeited, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
  6. Inactive Accounts are removed as described in Section 4 of the Privacy Policy (e-mail warning → block → deletion).

4. Scope of the Service and Billing

  1. Sketches are free and unlimited. The first Sketch after creating an Account requires no Days in the Wallet; subsequent Sketches require a Wallet balance of at least as many Days as the plan covers, but do not consume them.
  2. Approving a Sketch and generating a Full plan consumes one Day from the Wallet for each day of the plan. Days are consumed at the moment the Sketch is approved. Audio narration, the assistant and the translator are available for paid plans within the fair-use limits shown in the App.
  3. Days do not expire. Days cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another Account.
  4. Pack prices are shown in the App for the given sales channel (gross amounts). Purchases in the mobile app are made through the store's in-app purchase system — Apple App Store (iOS, Apple Media Services terms) or Google Play (Android, Google Play terms); the order is placed in the store's payment sheet and the purchase confirmation is sent by the store. Purchases in the web app are processed by Stripe. In every case the Provider confirms the Wallet top-up in the App and has no access to card details.
  5. Right of withdrawal. A Pack is digital content delivered immediately. A consumer who requests performance before the 14-day withdrawal period ends (purchasing a Pack constitutes such a request) loses the right of withdrawal in respect of Days already consumed to generate a plan. Unused Days may be refunded on request made within 14 days of purchase. Refunds for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are made through the store under its rules; if a refund through the store is not possible, the Provider refunds the value of unused Days by bank transfer.
  6. If generation of a Full plan fails due to an error on the Provider's side, the consumed Days are returned to the Wallet automatically; in other cases — after a complaint is examined.
  7. The Provider may grant Days free of charge (e.g. to testers, in promotions or as complaint resolution).

5. AI Content — Nature and Liability

  1. Plans, descriptions, assistant answers, translations and recordings are generated automatically by AI models from public data and place data (including Google Places). The Provider verifies the existence of places and opening hours as far as available data allows, but AI Content may contain errors, outdated information or simplifications.
  2. AI Content is informational and auxiliary. Before making decisions, the User should independently verify opening hours, ticket prices, safety conditions, visa and health requirements and dietary restrictions.
  3. The translator does not replace a sworn or professional translator; do not rely on it for medical, legal or official matters.
  4. The Provider is not liable for damage resulting from decisions made on the basis of AI Content unless caused by the Provider's wilful misconduct or gross negligence. This clause does not exclude or limit liability towards consumers where mandatory law does not permit it.
  5. The assistant, the translator and the narrator in the App are artificial intelligence systems — the User interacts with AI, not with a human. The narrator's voice is a synthetic voice generated by AI, and plans and place descriptions are prepared by AI.

6. Intellectual Property

  1. The App, its code, marks, graphics and layout are the property of the Provider or its licensors.
  2. The User obtains a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use generated plans and recordings for personal use (including offline on the User's own devices and as PDF). Reselling, public distribution or commercial use of AI Content without the Provider's consent is prohibited.
  3. Place photos come from Google Places and Wikimedia Commons and are subject to their authors' licences.
  4. Content entered by the User remains the User's property; the User grants the Provider a licence to process it to the extent necessary to provide the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

It is prohibited to: (a) use the App unlawfully or to the detriment of third parties; (b) enter unlawful, offensive or infringing content; (c) attempt to circumvent security, limits or billing, including automated bulk plan generation; (d) share the Account with third parties; (e) decompile or reverse-engineer the App. Violations may result in blocking or deletion of the Account after prior notice, or immediately in flagrant cases.

8. Availability and Changes to the Service

  1. The Provider strives for round-the-clock availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Plan generation depends on external providers (AI models, maps) and may be temporarily suspended.
  2. The Provider may change App features and add and remove languages. Users will be notified in advance of material changes limiting paid features.
  3. A plan saved on the device (offline mode) remains available regardless of server availability.

9. Complaints

  1. Complaints may be submitted in the App (Help) or to hello@guiddo.travel, stating the Account e-mail and a description of the problem.
  2. The Provider examines a complaint within 14 days of receipt and replies through the same channel.
  3. Consumers may use out-of-court means of handling complaints and pursuing claims, including mediation or the consumer arbitration court at the Provincial Inspectorate of Trade Inspection in Poland, and the free assistance of a municipal or district consumer ombudsman. Information: www.uokik.gov.pl.

10. Personal Data

Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy available in the App and at https://guiddo.travel/privacy.

11. Changes to the Terms

  1. The Provider may amend these Terms for important reasons: changes in law, changes in the scope or model of the Service, security reasons.
  2. Users will be notified in the App or by e-mail at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Non-acceptance entitles the User to delete the Account; Days purchased before the change remain valid under the previous rules.

12. Final Provisions

  1. These Terms are governed by Polish law. The choice of law does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded by the law of their habitual residence.
  2. Matters not covered are governed by the Polish Civil Code, the Consumer Rights Act and the Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means.
  3. These Terms apply from the date of their publication in the App.
  4. Use of the App on iOS is additionally subject to Apple's standard licence agreement for App Store apps (Licensed Application End User License Agreement), concluded between the User and the Provider; Apple is not a party to that agreement or to these Terms. In matters of the Service, the Account, the Wallet, billing, complaints and the Provider's liability, these Terms prevail. Purchases in the iOS and Android app are subject to the Apple Media Services and Google Play terms respectively as regards the transaction itself (payment, receipt, refund through the store).
